Small Engine Repair - Afton Campus     

This class provides the general knowledge on how to troubleshoot problems in the operation of Small Engines. It provides safety measures on how to take small engines apart and put the engine back together. It then provides the knowledge on how to physically fix the engine the student is working on. Outboard Motor Repair - Afton Campus     

Marine engine owners are taught the theory of operation, normal service maintenance, tune-up procedures and minor repair of their engines. Classroom lecture and live work is performed. Marine engine owners receive the knowledge and training necessary to correctly operate and maintain theirs engines and perform minor service work on their engines.


General Auto Maintenance & Repair- Pryor & Afton     

Students will be introduced to general auto maintenance and repair, vehicle parts identification, diagnosis of vehicle problems, and executing needed repairs. This class incorporates instructor guided repairs on student vehicles and covers topics such as brake repair, electrical repair with multi-meter, coolant flush, transmission flush, injector flush, and steering and suspension repair.


Auto Body-Beginning- Pryor Campus     

Door dings, bumper scrapes, scratches? These are all things that you have a shot at repairing yourself. Students will become familiar with vehicle construction and parts, learn basic metal straightening, MIG welding for auto repair, using hand and power sanders, working with fillers and glazes, and fabrication and installation of patch panels.


Auto Body-Advanced- Pryor Campus     

This course covers basic dent repair, working with fillers, paint preparation, priming and spray techniques, mixing primers, paints & clears, MIG welding techniques for automotive repair, and body panel replacement and alignment

Basic & Advanced Conduit Bending Certification - Afton Campus

This class will introduce both hands-on and textbook electrical training and residential wiring. Some examples are: Ohms law, series & parallel circuits, AC & DC circuits, current & wire size calculations, use of volt ohm meters, shop drawings, wiring & circuit testing, electrical connections, switches & receptacles, NEC, working with Romex, and electrical safety. Pencil, paper and ruler is required for class.


Intro To Electricity - Afton Campus     

This 24 hour class will combine hands-on and textbook training in electrical and residential wiring. Some topics to be covered are: Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits, AC&DC circuits, current and wire size calculations, wiring and circuit testing, working with Romex, electrical safety.

Students will learn how to wire relays, motor starters, timers, and pilot devices; also how to design wiring and ladder diagrams; and to size wire, fuses and overload protection. Pencil, paper, ruler and calculator is required for class.

Pistol Cartridge Reloading - Kansas Campus     

Reload cartridges for your pistol. This class will teach you how to properly and safely reload your cartridges according to Sporting Arms and Ammunation Manufacturing Institute standards. Students will learn where to get reputable published load data and how to select appropriate reloading tools and supplies.


Knife Making- Pryor Campus     

This course focuses on the step-by-step process of making a knife from raw material stock to a fully functional knife. We will be hands-on profiling, grinding, and heat-treating the blade and installing the handle on the knife. Class participants will be introduced to the various machines and tools required for crafting homemade knives.


Marine Motor Basics- Pryor Campus     

This class will introduce boat owners to basic marine engine theory, maintenance, and boating safety. Classroom lecture and live work is performed.


Intro To Masonry - Afton Campus     

This 24 hour class is an introduction to basic masonry using a hands-on approach. Activities will include the presentation of information related to tools, equipment, measurements, drawings, specifications, materials and installation techniques.


UTV Maintenance And Repair- Pryor Campus     

Whether you're a seasonal UTV driver or a year-round die-hard, you won't be doing much duning, trail riding, rock crawling, or any other 4-wheeled fun if you don't maintain your side-by-side. Students will learn UTV construction & parts identification, fluid checks & changes, light mechanical repairs & preventative maintenance techniques.


Basic Welding-GMAW - Kansas & Afton     

This course is designed to cover basic welding skills and provide a foundation for further training toward industrial welding skills. Students will receive basic instruction and participate in hands-on experiences using oxyfuel welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding (MIG). Safe use of equipment is emphasized.


Advanced Stick 6G Pipe Section 9-State Certification - Pryor Campus     

This class is designed for the sole purpose of preparing experienced welders for certification to ASME Pipe, section 1X, 6G position. While some theory is included, the course content is predominately hands-on. The certification test will be simulated in the classroom; however, fees for the actual certifications test are NOT included in the cost of this class.


Welding For D1.1 Structural Certification - Pryor Campus     

This class is designed for the sole purpose of preparing experienced welders for certification to AWS code D1.1 (structural). While some theory is included, the course content is predominately hands-on. The D1.1 certification test will be simulated in the classroom, however, fees for the actual certification test are NOT included in the cost of this class.

Welding-TIG 1 - Afton Campus     

Students will learn TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding, the most precise welding there is. TIG welding students will learn fundamentals of TIG which are used in welding aluminum, stainless steel & pipe welding. These same techniques are used by motorcycle and bicycle frame makers as seen demonstrated on television. Certification is available upon completion of the class.


Introduction To TIG & Pipe Welding - Pryor Campus     

Students will begin with the fundamentals of TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding procedures and techniques. Emphasis is placed on welding in the horizontal and overhead positions. Students will be expected to build a project that meets all specifications, tolerances and quality standards.


Tig 5G & 6G Welding - Pryor Campus     

Students will begin with TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding tube to tube in the 6G position. Students will be expected to build two to three projects that meet all specifications, tolerances and quality standards.


Learn To Frame A House-Pryor Campus     

This class will cover framing floor systems, walls, and rafters. You will learn to figure common, hip , and valley rafters also hip, valley, and cripple jacks. You will also figure and layout stair stringers.
